Patrick Margetson-Rushmore, Chief Executive
Patrick is a founding member of LEA, now known as Luxaviation UK and is responsible for the overall strategic development and financial control of the company. In the 1980s and early 1990s he worked in the City of London in corporate finance advising both private and public companies. He is a board director of the European Air Taxi Association.
George Galanopoulos, Managing Director
George is a founding member of LEA now known as Luxaviation UK and oversees Operations and Customer Care. He has over 20 years experience of commercial flying and Charter Management. He is an authorised examiner for the Civil Aviation Authority, a council member for the BBGA and a Fellow of the Guild of Air Pilots and Navigators.
Captain Glyn Anderson, Director of Flight Operations
Glyn has been with the company since its start in 1995, has flown on most of the company's types and has a very broad corporate experience which enables him to have a excellent understanding of Luxaviation UK's clients' needs and expectations. As well as maintaining high client service standards he is responsible for flight safety compliance and is the acting fleet manager on the Embraer Legacy fleet.
Captain Stefan Pedersen, Deputy Director of Flight Operations
Stefan has been in aviation since 1999, joining the company in 2006. He has flown a number of types for the company, including pistons, turboprops and jets. He currently flies on the King Air 200 and Embraer Phenom 300 as Line Training Captain and Fleet Manager on both types.
Kristina Lankester, Cabin Service Manager
Kristina first came to the company in 2008 with a sound background in both the commercial and private aviation sectors. She currently heads Luxaviation UK's cabin crew team and her responsibilities include training, cabin safety standards and ensuring a top class service is provided to both Luxaviation UK owners and clients.
Leigh Westwood, Director of Operations
Leigh is responsible for managing Luxaviation UK's Ground and Flight Operations departments. Having worked in aviation since 1999, he has a diverse knowledge of the industry, from not only working in management roles for an airport operator, a major scheduled airline and also a charter operator, but also from a flying perspective, as a commercial pilot.
Alex Miles, Commercial Manager
Alex has worked in Luxaviation UK’s commercial team since 2010 and has five years’ previous experience as a charter broker.
Sarah Wightwick, Marketing Manager
Sarah has a background in marketing and graphic design. She joined the company in 2010 and is responsible for marketing, social media, events and website development.
Martin Hilder, Project Manager
Martin is a Project Manager for Luxaviation UK. He has a financial and corporate background, and has been with the company since 2001.
Steve Hughes, Continuing Airworthiness Manager
Steve is responsible for the Continuing Airworthiness management of the Luxaviation UK aircraft, and has 35 years' experience in the aviation industry, with 28 years in business aviation maintenance. He holds a current EASA Part 66 B1 & FAA aircraft engineer’s Licence and has been heavily involved in the all-encompassing aspects of aircraft engineering across both Part M and Part 145 environments.
Tony Medlock, Head of Finance
Tony joined the company in April 2011 and heads up the Accounts Department. He is a fully qualified accountant and has previously held a number of senior finance positions in a variety of small and medium sized organisations. Although a newcomer to the aviation industry he has in excess of 25 years accounting experience in industry and commerce.
