Roxanne Rogers is an assistant accountant for Luxaviation UK.
What sparked your interest in Aviation?
For more than ten years I worked for a metal company as an assistant accountant however, I longed for a more corporate and professional environment. When I was contacted about an upcoming job opportunity for Luxaviation UK I researched a great deal about the company and the aviation industry and this is how I first became interested.
What advice would you give young women considering a career in aviation?
Working in an accounts department for an aviation company is very interesting and diverse. No day is the same and you learn a great deal about the workings of the company and the aviation industry at the same time.
What is your greatest achievement at Luxaviation UK?
I would say the progress I have made within my role. Since joining the company in November 2015, I have taken on a huge amount of knowledge and responsibility which has allowed me to be involved in processing the final accounts of the company and even analyse aircraft profitability.
What do you like about working for Luxaviation UK?
I enjoy getting to work with such a wonderful team whose main focus is to provide outstanding service to all our customers.
What are your day-to-day responsibilities at Luxaviation UK?
Every day is different at Luxaviation UK, but my usual jobs include payroll, accounts preparation, reporting aircraft profitability, group reporting and overseeing owner accounts.
