Essex Aviation Firms To Compete In Society Polo Match
London, England, July 9, 2012 – Two Essex-based aviation firms take to the turf in a face-off match at the upcoming Duke of Essex Polo Trophy 2012. More than 15,000 people are expected to attend the event where leading business jet charter operator, London Executive Aviation (LEA), headquartered at Stapleford Tawney, will take on Southend Airport owner Stobart Group in a pro-am game before the main match.
George Galanopoulos, LEA’s managing director and team captain, says: “Stobart and LEA have a close working relationship normally, but on the polo field it’s no holds barred. Granted, polo’s a novel approach to proving who’s top dog, but it works. I would say that, though, since LEA are going to win!”
Gates open at 11:45 on July 14 at the Gaynes Park estate in Epping, Essex. The LEA vs Stobart Group match will run from 14:30 to 15:30, with the main match starting at 16:30. Show-jumping and sky-diving displays will also take place followed by parties late into the night.
