Fly Through Europe's Winter Wonderland with LEA
London, England, 22 October 2014: Forgotten a present for Mrs Claus? Elves a bit slow in the factory this year? Or maybe Rudolph has man-flu. Whatever the reason, there is still time to bring home a private jet full of gifts according to London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe’s largest business jet charter operators, by flying to three of Europe’s finest Christmas markets, all in one day.
The Christmas markets in Lille, Brussels and Cologne show off some of Europe’s most beautiful cities during the festive season, with market squares transformed into magical settings. With a 07.00am departure from Luton, and 2.5 hours in each destination, you will arrive back in Luton at 17.30pm – enough time for one final mulled wine before loading up the sleigh.
To reach all three Christmas markets in one day, LEA recommends flying in a Citation Excel or a Citation Mustang. LEA’s Citation Excel will seat up to nine passengers, with a top speed of more than 500mph. Its large baggage compartment can take several large Christmas sacks. LEA’s Citation Mustang seats four passengers. It has a top speed of almost 400mph and a price lower than any existing jet.
Nine people can travel together on a Citation Excel for a cost of £10,500 per day (£1,167 per person). This includes a flight from Luton-Lille (45 minutes), Lille-Brussels (25 minutes), Brussels-Cologne (35 minutes) and Cologne-Luton (1 hour 10 minutes).
Four people can travel together on a Citation Mustang for a cost of £5,650 per day (£1,412.50 per person). This includes a flight from Luton-Lille (45 minutes), Lille-Brussels (25 minutes), Brussels-Cologne (35 minutes) and Cologne-Luton (1 hour 10 minutes).
Lille is host to the largest Christmas market in northern France. The Place Rihour has a giant illuminated Ferris Wheel, funfair, concerts, exhibitions and more than 50 stalls. It is open until 30 December 2014. Brussels Christmas Market is open until 4 January 2015. It is decorated with festive lights, and a large number of stalls selling an array of traditional and seasonal products. Located on the banks of the Rhine, Cologne has seven Christmas markets which run until 23 December 2014, offering a large scale of traditional goods and handcrafted goods.
