LEA Opens The Door To Saint-Tropez
London, England, 10 September 2013: London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe’s largest business jet charter operators, has added a new flight destination to its European portfolio. The LEA fleet’s Embraer Phenom 300 is now operating flights to and from La Môle - Saint-Tropez Airport in the French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
George Galanopoulos, LEA’s managing director, says: “The gateway to the Côte d'Azur, La Môle Saint-Tropez Airport has, until now, been used by very few private charter flights due to the short runway, but it is ideal for our Phenom 300. Previously, clients had no choice but to travel to Saint-Tropez via Cannes-Mandelieu Airport or Toulon Saint-Tropez Airport, followed by ground transport - clearly far from ideal.
“The Embraer Phenom 300 is tailor-made for this environment and can fly four passengers into Saint-Tropez and seven passengers from the airport to London. Our crews are trained and cleared for operations into the airport. In obtaining this new destination, LEA is even better positioned to serve the French market and provide our clients with the opportunity to access Saint-Tropez in record time.”
