LEA Welcomes New MedAire Partnership
London, England, 13 March 2014 – London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe’s largest business jet charter operators, is welcoming a new partnership with MedAire, an International SOS company, to maximise the safety and security of LEA’s passengers and crew in-flight and in-destination.
LEA’s operations manager Leigh Westwood says: “The safety and security of our clients, passengers and crew are paramount, particularly in high- and elevated-risk countries. Our new partnership with MedAire provides LEA with evacuation co-ordination anywhere in the world as well as medical advice globally and from the UK.
“MedAire will work with LEA’s operations team to further enhance our security and risk assessments for flights into remote and high-risk regions, including the provision of security personnel when required. We can call MedAire 24-7 to request specific and detailed security information for any part of the world, taking the safety of our customers and crew to a new level of excellence.”
As part of the service, LEA also has access to MedAire’s Trip Ready app, which provides valuable insights into each destination. The Trip Ready app provides an easily accessible, additional source of information during LEA’s risk assessment process. Pre-trip, the app is used to help LEA’s operations team make informed decisions as part of its Safety Management Systems. It is also used once flights are underway in order to monitor the most up-to-date information.
